Where's the Music?

So I've been having this iche to find some new music lately. None of this pop crap that is considered music today but some good music. I think that the good artists left are forced to either be what their label wants them to be until they can unleash their full potential, i.e. John Mayer, or they are forced to play at bars and small venues.
